Implementing Workflows for Magento Connector

Golden Workflows

Golden Workflows provide out-of-the-box integrations between Magento and ERP systems (such as SAP Business One). Implementation details are provided below.

  • Orders (Magento to ERP)
    • The SAP Business One version of this workflow includes creation of a corresponding A/R Down Payment Invoice document and Incoming Payment document.
  • Fulfillments/Deliveries (ERP to Magento)
    • This workflow includes tracking information.
  • Products/Items (ERP to Magento)
  • Stocks/Inventory (ERP to Magento)

ERP Connectors

To install these workflows for an ERP system, basic ERP-specific configuration is required. Once that’s complete, Magento-focused configuration is required to install supporting metadata.

SAP Business One Metadata

Metadata is required to support integrations between Magento and SAP Business One, including the following workflows.

Inventory to Stocks (SAP to Magento) SAP Business One Inventory to Magento Stocks. (SAP Business One Only)
Item to Product (SAP to Magento) SAP Business One Item Master Data to Magento Product. (SAP Business One Only)
Order (Magento to SAP) Magento Order to SAP Business One Sales Order. Includes creation of a corresponding A/R Down Payment Invoice document and Incoming Payment document in SAP Business One. (SAP Business One Only)

To install Golden Workflows for SAP Business One (B1):

  1. Install Saltbox metadata for SAP Business One, as outlined in Saltbox Metadata for SAP Business One.

  2. Install Magento-specific metadata for SAP Business One, as outlined in the Magento Metadata for SAP Business One section.

  3. Install Golden Workflow project file using the project import feature.
