Implementing Workflows for Amazon Selling Partner Connector

Golden Workflows

Amazon Selling Partner Connector includes access to the following Golden Workflows. These workflows integrate Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) and Fulfillment By Merchant (FBM) with SAP Business One (SAP B1). Golden Workflows include:

  • SAP B1 Item to Amazon Product
    • Note: The Amazon API restricts how new items are published to the website. To complete item setup for newly created B1 items, a manual step is required in Amazon to publish the new item on the website. Once published, details will be maintained by this workflow.
  • SAP B1 Inventory to Amazon Product Inventory
  • Amazon Order (FBM) to SAP B1 Sales Order
  • Amazon Order (FBA) to SAP B1 A/R invoice
  • SAP B1 Delivery to Amazon Shipment Confirmation

ERP Connectors

To support integration between Amazon and an ERP, such as SAP Business One, that ERP’s Connector will need to be installed and configured.

SAP Business One Metadata

Metadata is required to support integrations between Amazon and SAP Business One, including the following workflows.

Amazon Order (FBM) to SAP B1 Sales Order Automatically pull orders from Amazon into SAP B1 for FBM (Fulfillment By Merchant). (SAP Business One metadata only - no custom fields installed in Amazon)
Amazon Order (FBA) to SAP B1 A/R invoice Automatically pull orders from Amazon into SAP B1 invoices for FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon). (SAP Business One metadata only - no custom fields installed in Amazon)
SAP B1 Delivery to Amazon Shipment Confirmation Manage deliveries in SAP B1 for FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant) and automate this workflow to push them into Amazon shipment confirmations. (SAP Business One metadata only - no custom fields installed in Amazon)

To install Amazon Golden Workflows for SAP Business One (B1):

  1. Install Saltbox metadata for SAP Business One, as outlined in Saltbox Metadata for SAP Business One.

  2. Install Amazon-specific metadata for SAP Business One, as outlined in the Amazon Metadata for SAP Business One section.

  3. Install Golden Workflow project file using the project import feature.
