SAP Business One Hana (Service Layer) Connector updated

SAP Business One Hana (Service Layer) Connector version 1.20.4 includes several updates, outlined below.

New Features

• Soft failures have been added to close object action. This provides an option to allow the workflow to continue after a B1 failure, and to allow the workflow to handle the failure as part of its logic.

Updates

The following features are deprecated and will be unavailable in the next major version release. Major version releases are rare and contain substantial changes such as removal of previously deprecated actions, or other non-backward-compatible updates.

Convert the following to a newer format (as indicated) to ensure forward compatibility.

• Workflow Trigger Message Sources:

  • B1Query - update this message source to B1Query v2 and ensure the message format has been updated to Service Layer B1Query Converter v2. Note that resulting trigger message will be in a different format and will require mapping updates.

  • Service Layer Workflow Trigger - update this message source to Get B1 Object. No change is required to the message format (continue to use Service Layer Converter). Note that the resulting trigger message will be in a different format and will require mapping updates.

  • Workflow Message Source - update this message source to Workflow Message Source v2. No change is required to the message format (continue to use Service Layer Converter). Note that the resulting trigger message will be in a different format and will require mapping updates.

• Message Formats:

  • Service Layer B1Query Converter - update to the message format Service Layer B1Query Converter v2 and ensure the message source has been updated to B1Query v2 as well. Note that resulting trigger message will be in a different format and will require mapping updates.

• Actions:

  • GenericAction UserDefinedAction - update to GenericAction UserDefinedAction v2 and ensure corresponding mappings are updated.

Requirements

As of version 1.15.0, Application server version 2.3.0.2034610 or later is required. Usually, this is updated automatically. To verify, go to System Information > Status Check and verify the Application server version. Shown below, the Application server is running the proper engine version (or higher) and so can run this version of the SAP Business One Hana (Service Layer) Connector.
