Saltbox Platform Release Notes for November 16, 2022

This maintenance release includes support for bar codes in doc designer and bug fixes.

New Features

Doc Designer now supports two different 2d barcode fonts.

• Generate emails or PDFs with barcodes in the following formats:

  • code 39 - linear barcode font with numbers displayed below.

  • code 128 - linear barcode font with numbers displayed below.

• PDFs generated will display these barcode fonts without any additional setup.

• To view these fonts in desktop email clients such as Outlook, ensure the following fonts are installed in your Windows operating system:

  • Libre Barcode 39 Text (Google Fonts)

  • Libre Barcode 128 Text (Google Fonts)

• To view these barcodes in web email clients, the browser must support web fonts. For desktop computers and most mobile phones, this is commonly supported. For specialty devices such as web-connected barcode scanners with web clients, consult your operators manual .

Bug Fixes

• Bug Fixed: Admin cloud containers page times out with error (61727).

• Bug Fixed: Format settings are incorrectly selected when changing to a general-purpose data format (such as “get a file”) (61739).

• Usability Bug Fixed: Layout style fixes on settings and assets pages (60990 61801).

• Usability Bug Fixed: Admin cloud containers page displays the incorrect message when a container is deleted (61962).
