Saltbox Platform Release Notes for September 29, 2022

This feature release includes new functionality for doc designer, visual data mapper, audit trails and trigger setup, plus fixes for customer-reported issues.

New Features

Embed images within doc designer when sending emails or PDF attachments*. Doc designer supports building documents that include workflow data. It’s used to generate HTML or PDF content that can be sent by email, attached to another action, or uploaded to a third-party system such as SFTP or SAP Business One.
- *To send emails with embedded images, Outgoing Email Utility Connector version 4.3.0 or higher is required.
Inspect Audit Trail details at the tenant level. This builds on existing per-project audit trail details, allowing users to monitor the whole tenant at once.
Pick a data path visually on Trigger ID’s and splitter settings. Use this tree view of sample data to set the trigger’s ID, or to split apart the trigger’s data into multiple messages.
Map Data Sets in Visual Data Mapper. A collection can now be transformed into a simple data set using this new mapping data type.

Updates

The UI now enforces schedule setup best practice related to schedule frequency: Schedules cannot be set to less than 5 minutes through the “minutes” tab.

Bug Fixes

Bug fix: Can’t view manage group details with error “Cannot read properties of null (reading ‘isSystemGroup’)” (60833).
Bug fix: PDF failing with error “Document Map PDF size exceeds the maximum allowed 0 length” (60901).
Bug fix: Users screen incorrectly displays the error “You are not authorized to complete this action” (57898).
Usability Bug Fix: Logs are hard to access on mobile due to overlapping text (59979).
