Saltbox Platform Release Notes for August 25, 2022

This feature release provides enhancements to workflow and map setup, as well as access to operational status and outage notification page.

New Features

Deactivate actions and branches to change the workflow. Use this feature to “park” an action or branch temporarily while keeping configuration settings. Re-enable the action/branch without having to re-configure it.
Conditionally apply field mappings for more flexibility in map output. Conditions are configured like field maps: Drag and drop source fields to the condition setup area, then configure the condition. Conditions that evaluate to true will process the field mapping. Otherwise, the field mapping will be skipped.
Operational Status can be viewed at status.saltbox.io. Visit Operational Status for service statuses and outage notifications. Note that this is a platform-level status page, not tied to any given tenant or account.
Data Path and Variable setup has been simplified. Use the new quick-select menu to choose an available variable. Data paths may continue to be supplied manually (by typing in the path) or use the new visual data path picker to choose a data path visually.
Exception variables can be added to a workflow to support detailed exception handling. For example, a switch branch can be added to an exception block that inspects the error message variable for specific errors.
