Saltbox Platform Release Notes for September 23, 2026

This monthly feature release includes usability updates, bug fixes and early access to upcoming features.

Early Access

Engine version 3.45 includes:
- Technical improvements and optimizations for better performance and stability.
- Saved trigger details now load automatically after the trigger is saved. An engine restart is no longer needed after saving the trigger.
Usability Update: App host capacity status shows whether a host has low capacity, is over capacity, or has no capacity issues. The status is displayed wherever app hosts are shown.
Usability Update: Project-level errors now identify critical startup issues. These notices are collapsible and will expand again when navigating between projects.

Auditing tracks activity when moving a project between app hosts.
Usability Updates
- Variables are now displayed in the Workflow Designer outline section.
- When moving a project, stability and performance have been improved. Engines must be stopped before the project can be moved. The wizard now displays a list of running engines, which allows users to stop the engines without leaving the wizard.
- Conflict resolution wizard on the Workflow Designer page provides clearer resolution options for action/branch conflicts.
- Next scheduled trigger execution is now displayed in the Workflow Designer page and Trigger Details section.

Bug Fixed: Connection Config names can no longer begin or end with spaces.
Usability Bug Fixed: Empty Connection Configs without configurable settings no longer display a red error highlight. This affects configs for Saltbox Core Connector and File Utility Connector.
