Saltbox Platform Release Notes for August 19, 2026

This monthly feature release includes usability updates, bug fixes and early access to upcoming features.

Early Access

Customize and save layouts on the messages page.
Audit user-level access changes for all users, including historical access for users whose access has since been removed.
Variables are displayed in workflow designer outline.
Usability Updates:
- Project-level notices can be collapsed while navigating within a project.
- Show/Hide disabled actions and branches in workflow designer and message trace.
- Next scheduled workflow execution date and time is shown on the workflow designer and trigger details.

Usability Updates

Workflow designer outline includes layout updates to improve the user experience.
File names for monthly message metadata downloads now include the selected year/month by default.
Copy field names from the field options menu in Visual Data Mapper.
In Message Trace, unexecuted branches are collapsed by default.
“Route a Workflow” actions display available workflow names in a drop-down list instead of a text field. Requires the latest version of the Saltbox Core Connector.
In Visual Data Mapper, field selection within an un-mapped target array now highlights mappable source fields.
In Visual Data Mapper, search filters highlight matches, but show all fields by default. Toggle the filter to hide un-matched fields.
