Saltbox Platform Release Notes for April 1, 2026
This monthly feature release includes usability updates, bug fixes and early access to upcoming features.
Early Access
Early Access features will be released in the coming weeks, and can be made available upon request:

Visual Data Mapper now supports more granular control over array mappings:

Configure array conditions to control whether the array is included in the target. This existing functionality remains unchanged.

Configure row conditions to control whether individual rows are included in the array.+

Saltbox Webhooks now support the following data types: “x-www-form-urlencoded” and “multipart/form-data”.

Messages which are In Process can be inspected to see which step the workflow is currently processing. This info is found on the Messages page, in the message details pop-up.

Visual Data Mapper now supports dropping source fields into the map details panel. Source fields can still be dropped directly into the target tree.

Project Assets page now remembers each user’s preferred layout for each project.

The main navigation menu now supports search filtering.
New Features

SXP forms now support auto-fill using query lookups.

The Messages page ID field supports new filter options:

Filter by GUID, Transaction ID, or both.

Filter by multiple values using AND/OR operators.

Updates

Retry options have been disabled for messages which are too old and no longer contain data.

The non-MFA login screen has been retired.
Usability Updates:

When Saltbox API Gateway is enabled for a workflow, additional route documentation and examples are available on the Workflow Settings page.

When a Grid cannot be loaded, it displays a friendly splash screen.

SQL syntax highlighting is displayed on project and workflow files with .sql file type.

Added Time Zone instructions on project settings.
Bug Fixes
- Bug Fixed: Added validation to the trigger schedule settings to enforce required fields.
