Saltbox Platform Release Notes for January 22, 2026

This monthly feature release includes usability updates, bug fixes and early access to upcoming features.

Early Access

Visual Data Mapper (VDM) includes the following quality of life enhancements:
- Schema auto-selection is now supported for for complex actions, like “Create a B1 Object”. This requires a compatible connector, including SAP Business One Hana (Service Layer) Connector and SAP Business One SQL (B1WebAPI) Connector. Supported versions are listed below.
- Elements may be added to specific places in a map: At the top or bottom of the selected collection; above or below the selected element; or injected as a parent wrapper around the selected element.
View workflow history and other asset history directly from the project assets page.
Search has been added to the “Add a Variable” menu in action and trigger configuration.
Access revocation controls have been added to the user management pages for Tenant Admins. That is, a Tenant Admin can revoke access from Vision33 or Consultant type users.
Search filters have been added to the main menus.
PDF generation has been updated to improve throughput and multi-file generation. This update requires the latest version of Saltbox Core Connector (version 11.43 or higher).

Added “Select All/None” options to project export wizard.
“Paging” has been removed from the project assets page. Instead all assets will be displayed in a single scrollable window.
Utilities menu has been organized.
Grids hide the “edit” option when there are no editable fields within the available data.
Grid creation now enforces datastore selection during setup.

Bug Fixed: URL is double-encoded when opening workflows in a new tab.
Bug Fixed: OTC links are not working as directed, and instead force sign-in.
Bug Fixed: Saving a workflow sometimes freezes the screen for 1 minute before success.
Bug Fixed: Validation errors should not apply to actions in a disabled branch.
Bug Fixed: Asset groups are not moved between environments when their parent project is moved.
Bug Fixed: A locked project’s groups can be deleted, if those groups are empty.
Usability Bug Fixed: Some non-blocking errors are in red, when they should be in yellow.
Usability Bug Fixed: Can’t understand the error that’s displayed when uploading a manual version of a connector that’s already installed.
Usability Bug Fixed: Workflow Designer “more map options” menu shows too many options when newly created.
Usability Bug Fixed: Project Assets page menus don’t have tooltips when the project is locked.
