Saltbox Platform Release Notes for June 1, 2022

This feature release includes new document builder functionality to support sending emails and creating PDF attachments based on workflow data. Bug fixes have also been applied.

New Features

• Document Builder adds support for What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (wysiwyg) templates based on workflow data.

  • Draft email or PDF document templates using the wysiwyg editor.

  • Drag-and-drop workflow data and variables into the wysiwyg layout.

  • Attach workflow messages (like exported B1 attachments, CSV, PDF, etc.) to the resulting document.

  • Use documents generated by Document builder to:

    • Send workflow details directly via email in HTML format.

    • Send emails that include attachments, including other document PDFs (requires version 4.1.0 of the Outgoing Email Connector).

    • Upload document PDFs via connectors - for example SAP Business One or SFTP.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed: Workflow settings option to “skip duplicates” now applies to messages queued for retry (57618).

• Usability Bug Fixed: Layout bug fixes on project settings page, workflow settings page, realtime messages page, and API Gateway settings page (57175 57232 57793).
