Saltbox Platform Release Notes for August 14, 2023

This feature release includes the ability to copy/paste within a workflow, usability updates including simplified configuration, and bug fixes for customer-reported issues.

New Features

Copy an action or branch within Workflow Designer, then paste it in another workflow.
Message Trace page displays a “Run a Test Mapping” button. Use this button to launch the map tester screen and automatically load the traced input message.
Workflow Trigger settings can use project variables and workflow variables.

Updates

Usability Updates:

Connection Configs are now saved directly in the modal, which takes one less click.
Visual Data Mapper settings are now updated (but not saved) automatically, which takes one less click. Saving still requires an intentional button press.
Action details have been updated on the workflow designer page to make more details available at-a-glance.
What’s New button on the integrations dashboard now opens these release notes.
Map Tester and Workflow Tester screens are more condensed.

Bug Fixed: Visual Data Mapper “revert” didn’t load properly (67996).
Bug Fixed: Unable to select all on messages screen (67580).
Bug Fixed: “Unsaved changes” message appears incorrectly on Workflow Settings page (67325).
Bug Fixed: Adding a new workflow results in “Error on Engine Startup” error message (67436).
Bug Fixed: Renaming a workflow does not reload to the engine (66513).
Usability Bug Fixed: Layout issues due to technical changes (65885 67425 67536 67535 67537 67553 67574 67578).
