Saltbox Platform Release Notes for August 18, 2021

This feature release includes new security groups that provide flexible access to tenants, projects or environments. This release also includes bug fixes for customer-reported issues.

New Features

• Security groups allow users to be assigned access to all projects in a tenant, to all projects in an environment, or to individual projects.
  • Levels of access include:
    • No access - Default access level (when no groups are applied).
    • User - Basic read-only or limited feature access.
    • Operator - User access plus the ability to execute, review and inspect basic project details.
    • Designer - Operator access plus the ability to create and modify project details and configuration.
    • Manager - Designer access plus the ability to manage advanced settings, such as Connectors, engines, etc.
  • Tenant Admin group allows access to administrative utilities, such as user management and app host status, but no projects.

• Fixed: Visual Data Mapper “show only mapped” button doesn’t work on source (47438).

• Fixed: Failed transaction count displays as 0 regardless of actual count (48274).
