Smartsheet Connector updated
Smartsheet Connector version 2.0.0 includes breaking changes that address bugs in the connector-provided map target schema.
What’s new in version 2?
Version 2.0.0 provides a fix for incorrect connector-provided map target schemas. Earlier versions contain formatting bugs that result in failed workflow mappings. This is a non-backward-compatible fix, which requires an upgrade to correct. Instructions for updating affected map target schemas are provided below.
Note that this version will continue to support existing action settings and triggers. No special instructions are required to upgrade actions or triggers.
Version 2.0.0 also includes all version 1 bug fixes and features, plus the bug fix mentioned above. No new patches or bug fixes will be issued for version 1 of Smartsheet connector.
How to upgrade
For workflows which do not use connector-provided schemas (ex: triggers, actions without maps, or actions which use custom maps), simply upgrade the Smartsheet Connector, no further change is needed.
For workflows which use connector-provided schemas as map targets, upgrade the Smartsheet Connector, then perform the following updates:
-
For each map which uses a connector-provided schema, open visual data mapper.
-
Press the “Update Target Object” button on the target map.
-
Select “Connector Target” then select the desired target schema.
-
Press the “Load” button
-
Re-apply mappings from the source to the target.
-
Save the map.
-
Re-run the workflow to ensure the updates have been successfully applied.
